The European Federation for Medical Informatics is announcing that has withdrawn the status of “Official Journal of EFMI” from the European Journal for Biomedical Informatics (EJBI). The reasons for this are completely inappropriate behaviour for a scientific journal and the lack of quality assurance.

Unfortunately, despite repeated requests, EJBI has still not removed the claim to be an EFMI Journal from its website. EFMI is preparing legal action.
