Dear Colleague,
We are pleased to launch the 6th Edition of the DigiHealthDay, hosted by the European Campus Rottal-Inn of the Deggendorf Institute of Technology (DIT-ECRI), in collaboration with our esteemed PARTNERS, DONORS, and SPONSORS.
Breaking News: The First WHO Collaborating Centre for Digital Health in Germany
We are honored to announce DIT-ECRI’s designation as a WHO Collaborating Center for Digital Health Education, Research & Development—an accolade recognizing our role as a Global Digital Health Educator. Over the next four years, we will work closely with WHO to strengthen digital healthcare systems worldwide, contributing to policy and strategy development, training and capacity building, and research on digital health interventions.
DMEA, one of Europe’s most important events for Digital Health is just around the corner. DIT-ECRI has consistently led the way, with the highest number of attendees among educational institutions at DMEA. We Are At DMEA! Hall 6.2 | A-108. Find us at DMEA.
We are also excited to share that DIT-ECRI is a partner in the Erasmus + Funded Project, XiA, which unites 23 members across 18 countries to address skill gaps among healthcare and industry professionals in interoperability standards. By embracing Europe’s vision for a transformative healthcare future, starting with the European Health Data Space (EHDS), XiA aims to make a lasting impact on the future of healthcare in Europe and worldwide.
DigiHealthDay is a cohesive event series uniting diverse collaborations and offering an unparalleled opportunity to learn from worlds leading experts. We invite you to join our expanding platform and answer the call to excel in transforming healthcare through digital innovation.
DigiHealthDay-2025 begins with DigiHealthDay Workshops in the spring, continues through the fall, and culminates in our main event—DigiHealthDayS—at the European Campus Rottal-Inn (also streamed online) on November 12–14, 2025. During the main event week, we will host the XiA Project’s 2nd meeting, enriching an already outstanding roster of internationally renowned experts.
Continuing our tradition, this year’s Blended Intensive Program (BIP) on Artificial Intelligence for Health—co-funded by Erasmus+—will be held just before and during DigiHealthWeek (November 10–14). More universities and students from across Europe will come together to bridge knowledge, practical applications, and AI/ML adoption in healthcare.
Our Interdisciplinary, International, Innovative (I3) Master of Digital Health (MDH) program is preparing to welcome its next cohort, nurturing the future champions of Digital Health. Please share this exciting opportunity with anyone who might be interested—applications open soon!
